Cornell "meets 100 percent of admitted international undergraduates' demonstrated financial need with annual aid offers that include Cornell grants, an annual work-study award, and reasonable student loans." Read that carefully — the package is NOT all grant. It deliberately includes campus work hours and BORROWING, so an Egyptian family should expect a loan component on top of its own calculated contribution, and should ask for the exact grant/loan/work split before accepting. ⚠️ Admission is NEED-AWARE for internationals: "interest in or need for financial aid is one factor amongst many considered when making admission decisions." ⚠️ ONE-SHOT RULE: you must complete the CSS Profile when you apply for admission, or you are shut out of Cornell aid for the entire degree.
