Tuition covered (NIIED pays up to 5 million KRW per semester; the university waives any excess plus the admission fee); Korean language training fee of 5.2 million KRW (four quarters); economy-class entry and exit flight tickets (actual expense); monthly allowance totalling 12,840,000 KRW/year during Korean language training and 13,680,000 KRW/year during the degree programme — an all-inclusive subsidy covering living expenses, health insurance, Korean proficiency grants, TOPIK fees, settlement allowance and degree completion grants. Scholarship period is 5–7 years (1 year Korean language + 4–6 years degree).
