Scholarships in the UAE for Egyptian & Arab students 2026/27

Explore fully funded and partial scholarships in the UAE for Egyptian and Arab students — Bachelor's, Master's and PhD — plus tuition costs, the proof-of-funds figure the visa officer checks, student-visa fees and the embassy interview. Every deadline confirmed on its official source before it is published.

The Emirates is the closest "abroad" to home: global branch campuses and rising national universities, English in the classroom, Arabic in the street, and family a short flight away.

Studying in the UAE — what to expect

Curricula are Western-style with international faculty, and the campuses are new, well-funded and ambitious. Internships plug straight into a city built on business.

You’ll live inside one of the world’s most international societies — classmates from everywhere, Arabic always within earshot, and the national rhythm of Ramadan shared, not explained.

Students describe deep safety, polished everything, and a professional head-start that’s hard to match regionally. The trade-offs are honest ones: summer heat and living costs above Cairo’s.

What the UAE really costs

Tuition: Tuition is the real cost: UAEU (public — non-nationals pay full tuition) ≈ AED 57,000–80,000/year (2026/27 intake: AED 2,661 per credit hour); private universities range up to AED 110,876/year (AUS, 2026–27, all majors).

Proof of funds: No fixed proof-of-funds figure — the student visa is SPONSORED by the accredited university (or a resident parent), and the university’s visa office runs the residency file. Get admitted first; the sponsor handles the rest.

Student visa: University-sponsored residence visa: the bundled visa + Emirates ID runs ≈ AED 1,114.50 for one year (official AUS bundle; the GDRFA permit fees alone ≈ AED 740 in-country). Renews EVERY year with an in-country medical test.
